Music: Don't Cry Out - Shiny Toy Guns

So yes, I'm back and I've decided to make a series geared towards the amazing album The Black Parade....

This is actually something that I did about 6 months ago...funny enough. I drew it after my grandmother's death as a tattoo that I was going to get for her, hence the simple design. So the linework had just been sitting there and when my grandfather came to visit all the way from Sweden I decided to complete it with shading.

I know when people listen to the song Cancer they think of someone laying in bed hanging on to their last breathe...and so many artists have already drawn this image. Honestly...when I hear this song I think of someone sprouting wings and finally letting go of all the pain....and going to heaven, bringing the thoughts and prayers of everyone that loved them....which I wanted to convey by the read heart on his back.
